When Maple Falls Christian School cancels its drama department, theater-obsessed Sawyer Chase refuses to give up her dreams. She forms New Romantics, a student performing group, but keeping the act “wholesome” proves impossible when secret crushes, hidden identities, and forbidden romances collide with the expectations of their school, parents, and small-town community.

Illustrated by Dozerdraws

Dozer is a nonbinary illustrator, comic artist and bird parent from Germany. They’ve done work on BOOM! Studios’ Lumberjanes, several German TV and movie illustration and animation gigs, and their own wrestling fan-comic. They are always looking for new exciting stories and diverse characters to illustrate!
